A range of subjects covered including:

 

• Roles & responsibilities of an emergency first aider

• Assessing an incident

• Managing an unresponsive casualty

• CPR

• Basic AED use Recovery position

• Choking

• Seizures

• Shock

• Wounds and bleeding

• Minor injuries

 

Learners are assessed through practical observation and a multiple-choice question paper
